Attestation for Philippines

The Philippines embassy in New Delhi informs members of the Philippines community in India that .on 14-may-19 the Apostille convention. 

(Hague convention of 5 October 1961-Abolishing the requirement of legalization for foreign public document) will enter into force in the Philippines.

This means that, 14-may-19 any document issued in India and to be used in the Philippines need not be authenticated (Red-ribbened) by the Philippine embassy in New Delhi or the Philippines consulates general in Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai. For these documents to be accepted in the Philippines

They only need to have the Apostille sticker from the Indian ministry of External Affairs (MEA).a sample of which is seen below.
